Are you ready for a night of exploring new worlds and virtual hamburgers flipping? Then come to the second edition of the Game Changers event at the Bio Science Park in Leiden!
Enjoy a night full of games
At Game Changers you get the chance to play the newest innovative, scientific and of course fun games. From board and card games, to digital and virtual reality games. Young developers, like the makers of Quantam Chess and Elementary the Game, present their prototypes at the ‘Proeflab’. You also get to play the newest editions of ImmunoWars and Organ Attack. While playing these games you can figure out how the human body works and reacts to infections.
Learn about science
Educational instutions, game developers, scientists, policymakers and the public come together during the Game Changers event. Visitors get to experience with physics, infectious diseases and the endless possibilities of virtual reality. We demonstrate how gamification enriches education by making it more interactive, interesting and effective. Additionally, we highlight the positive effects, such as increasing interest in science, strengthening feelings of collaboration, and promoting interdisciplinary networks among all involved groups. This way, we bridge the gap between science and the general public.
