Lecture: reimagining druggability using chemoproteomic platforms
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dan Nomura will give the first LED3 Lecture of this academic year on September 28th, 2023. Daniel Nomura is Professor of Chemical Biology at UC Berkeley and director of the Novartis-Berkeley Translational Chemical Biology Institute.
28th of October | 16:15-17:30 | Gorlaeus Building, LEIDEN
His group is world-renowned for their work on expanding the druggable proteome. Here, they have e.g. made important contributions to identifying ligandable hotspots on hard-to-drug targets using chemoproteomics and to developing new protein degraders and stabilizers. Next to his academic excellence, Dan Nomura is also actively engaged in the valorization if his research e.g. as co-founder of Frontier Medicines and founder of Vicinitas Therapeutics.
For this event there is no need to apply: everyone is welcome to join.
