CaraOmics is developing a platform for building “clinical digital twins”: digital models of patients that predict how a disease develops or how a person responds to treatment. The platform helps hospitals and researchers turn existing patient data into actionable AI models faster and cheaper, without building complex data infrastructure each time.
Theybuild the necessary infrastructure that lets hospitals deploy and scale clinical digital twins safely – handling privacy, compliance, scalability, and AI explainability in one trusted platform. Their goal is to provide the means to ensure that ambitious projects like the Virtual Human Twin become a reality.
CaraOmics had signed pilots with Amsterdam UMC, UMC Utrecht, and ACTA. Their consortium partners include Princess Maxima Center, LUMC, TU/e, and Erasmus MC, with additional European research collaborations across Switzerland, France, Greece, Finland, and Denmark.
