The European Medicines Agency (EMA) recently joined unlock_ and BioPartner Leiden for an interactive session on navigating the EU regulatory landscape. From early development to market access.
During the session, Sebastian Asprella, Programme Lead for EU Competitiveness, shared insights into key EMA tools, support mechanisms for academic innovators, and ways startups can engage with the EMA at an early stage. His presentation was well received, with participants asking targeted questions about their own projects and ITF pathways.
The event brought together members of the current unlock_ cohort, alumni, and startups and scale-ups based at the BioPartner campuses. It not only provided valuable regulatory insights but also fostered networking and peer exchange among innovators in the life sciences community.
The evening concluded with the Bitterballen Borrel at BioPartner 1. A perfect opportunity to continue conversations in an informal setting.
