Gulliver Startup Awards 2026

2 maart 2026
On Friday, February 27, the festive finals of the Gulliver Startup Awards took place. Four promising startups pitched their innovative ideas to a jury and the audience. With a prize pool of up to €10,000, there was a lot at stake. Above all, the evening revolved around impact, entrepreneurship, and forward-thinking solutions. Each of the selected startups presented strong concepts with clear social relevance.

Participating Startups

Radigene, founded by Cas Kranenburg and Laura Mezzanotte, helps developers of cell therapies make better-informed go/no-go decisions earlier in the process. Their solution can make the development of new therapies more efficient and effective.

MyClusters, developed by Darshan Ramanagouda and Shayan Abdullah, is an app that supports patients with cluster headaches by providing personalized insights and analyses. At the same time, it offers healthcare institutions valuable data to better understand and treat this chronic condition.

Gateway Bio, founded by Mark ter Heide and Jos Paulusse, is working on technologies that enable the development of new antimicrobials. Their goal is to combat drug-resistant infections more effectively, a growing global problem.

CupHub, founded by Sophie Haccou and Aart Rozendaal, focuses on sustainably addressing period poverty. With their innovative cleaning product for menstrual cups, they aim to improve both accessibility and hygiene.

After an evening filled with inspiring pitches and tough questions from the jury, several winners were announced. MyClusters won over the audience and took home the Audience Award of €1,000. The Innovation Prize, worth €3,000, went to Radigene. The grand prize, the Life Sciences Prize worth €10,000, was awarded to Gateway.
