Axite is dedicated to transforming brain health monitoring by providing early identification of brain changes and continuous monitoring of brain activity. Theygo beyond traditional neural assessments by passively recording brain functions in real-world settings.
Take off NWO: In 2025, Axite received both a Take Off Phase 1 grant and a Take Off Phase 2 loan from NWO, totaling €250,000. This funding supports the startup in validating their technology's potential and taking the first steps toward bringing NeuroJournal to market.
UNIIQ: In December 2025, Axite received a €350,000 investment from UNIIQ, making us the first social sciences spin-out from Leiden University to ever receive UNIIQ funding. This investment allowed us to grow our team, advance NeuroJournal, and launch a clinical study with top epilepsy centers.
